Healthy Well-Being

[Day 4 of New Years Countdown]

Hey Humans!

It’s that time of the year where people start writing resolutions (read my blogpost). You can start anytime you want, I’m just helping out for those who have the will to start. What is a healthy well-being? Who can say someone has enough health for a healthy well-being?

It really does depend on perspectives. But what I know for sure the only person who can judge ‘healthy’ on your own body is yourself . Doctors, friends, and family can only say but remember that they can’t feel what you feel.. Life is a choice, being healthy is your choice. How could it be a choice? A choice of what you do, eat, routines. I will not go full-on detail, but I’ll just explain the basic importance.

  1. Food. Everyone would say “Watch out what you eat” when it comes to diets and being healthy. It’s true, though it is only 20% part of the healthy well-being. By eating healthy also doesn’t mean cutting off hundreds of calories a day! You also need those calories for your daily energy. I’m not a food dietary expert, if you want to know more search it up on others’ blogs.
  2. Feelings. What you think and how you react effects on your well-being. These things can cause stress, depression, anxiety and many others. Also called emotional health, which is a problem that gives negative effects to the whole of your body not just the brain. People would at least need to be aware that this is a real problem. When someone you know has emotional health problems, don’t isolate them. They don’t need more of what they can do to themselves, but offer them help.
  3. Calm. I know I know, we all have that moment when we feel tired and overwhelmed with all our tasks. But sometimes we just have to re-think. Is what we do worth the stress? Is the comeback worth the pain? You deserve a timeout. Your health is the most important deal. Without your health, you can never say ‘yes’ to jobs.
  4. Sleep. This one word is the hardest! Yes, I’m saying this to myself. Many researches has proved that sleep deprivation can cause many health problems. Getting enough sleep is like taking your daily dose of vitamins. It helps you stay balanced in life.
  5. Activities. What you choose to physically do effects the most on having a healthy well-being. We all know that exercising is the best way to keep you healthy. But at least doing anything is better than doing nothing!  Except if your ‘doing something’ means sitting with your phones and laptops on. Get out the house and do something!

How To Survive Braces

Hey Humans!

I have been wearing braces for over 2 years now! And I can’t believe it’s all over now. OVER! It feels so freeeee.. I will share you how to survive braces including a talk-over youtube video.

  1. Avoid eating hard food! I didn’t listen for a few times, and my brackets fell off a couple times. So my dentist had to re-glue it and I had to waste more money.
  2. Bring water around at all times! Rinse out your braces after eating. At least you can be hydrated at all times. Oh, and always check your teeth with a mirror to see if anything is stuck in between.
  3. Mouthwash or Floss! Honestly, flossing is hard when you have braces on, so mouthwash would be fine. I wore damon braces so it helps rinse out the dirt inside the brackets to open the wire gates.
  4. Use small little toothbrushes! It help getting those dirt between the braces.
  5. When prescribed with bands, wear it everyday! I didn’t use mine everyday so the time I wore braces was a lot longer than expected.
  6. Last, do not go to your appointment a month after your actual appointment! I did that, and not only that it adds the more time using braces but also how hard it was to open my damon brackets!

That’s all my tips I can give you…. I am now bracelesss!!!! If you’re getting braces, or wearing braces, good luck! And if you’re about to get your braces off, congratulations!!!

Never Too Much Candles

Hey Humans!

I’ve been obsessed with candles! They help keep me calm and focus. After the many candles I’ve tried, there are love and hate relationships through them all. So here are my candles, and the pros and cons of them.

IMG_6324I hate it when candles burn uneven! The sides! That is a lot of wax left that I can’t burn anymore obviously because the wick is dead. But that bothers me so much! Well, I honestly don’t really like this scent either. I don’t like that the scent isn’t strong enough for a room. I’m not going to stick my nose on top of the candle to smell it! A part from that, I love the glass package! Definitely going to reuse this.

IMG_6327Next is how much I hate it when a candle doesn’t burn until finish because the wick is shorter than the wax! I love this candle so much. I got this from ikea, I can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s such a nice flower scent. Not like the mainstream jasmine scent though. Oh and the glass and lid are so pretty! But….. The wick died before I could finish this beautiful scented candle! I’m so sad…

NoIMG_6195w this candle here is so hard for me to burn. So hard because I love it so much! In this picture it looks squeaky clean, but I swear I’ve burnt it a few times now. This is a 3 wick candle, so it burns evenly. The lid is such a pretty metallic. And I love the scent! It’s like nature. If you’ve read my blog before, I love being in the nature. So having this candle brings calm to me. This is very similar to the Bath and Body Works 3 wick candle. I’ve never bought a BBW candle because it’s twice the price they sell in Indonesia.

IMG_6332This is my favorite candle of all! Lemon? My favorite! And I’m so glad of how strong this is for a room. Even if I leave it open in a room, you can smell it when you walk by. This is only a 1 wick candle, and it still burns evenly because of the big wick. But funny how the jar looks now after burning it a long time. But besides that, I love this candle!

IMG_6200I have a lot of others left in the closet.. And I’ll be sure to be making something out of all the glass and jars of these candles! I might make a DIY post someday? Well if you want to see them all come over to my youtube channel and watch the video! Oh and don’t forget to leave your path by liking and subscribing. Oh and I’ve attached the video at the bottom of this post. Give it some love!

How To Keep Yourself Calm

Hey Humans!
It can be quite tiring having to come home from school, university, work, or where ever you’ve been bringing problems. And when you do nothing about it, stacking all your problems everyday can turn into depression or stress! This being said, there are a few ways to keep your mind and soul calm.

  1. What is it you’re so fussed about? Think about it… Is it really worth thinking over and over again. If it was something you did wrong, is thinking over and over again going to change the past? Because it can’t, what has happened, happened. You can only learn from it, because you can’t be the person you are today, realizing what’s right or wrong, without making mistakes!
  2. What makes you relaxed? Keep your environment nice and fresh. Take a nice cold shower, a relaxing bath, or make your room fresh filled with your favorite scented candle, aromatherapy, or flowers. This really works well for me. When I need some time to think I turn the lights off my room, turn on my fairy lights, and light a nice candle (this is exactly what I’m doing while writing this post!). If you can’t do any of these, not to worry, simply find a comfy spot and think for awhile there. You can shut your eyes, control your breathing in a nice steady pulse.
  3. None of these is going to effect you? If this thing is a problem to you, why are you keeping it as a problem? If it is what you must do, it is for the better. Imagine where you’ll be after all of your problem is done. You’ll never regret having it as a problem in the first place! But if the problem won’t give you or neither anyone else benefit in the end, eliminate your problem.

I think that is all of what I can currently think of.. I hope this helps anyone who is reading to keep yourself a better well-being. If you have any ideas, please don’t be shy to leave a comment!

Smooth Skin Trick

Hey Humans!

I’ve had the worst dry skin ever! I just don’t have the time to spare a 10 minute skin care routine for scrubbing, lotions, butters, toners, that is just ridiculous! But…. But… BUT! I have been doing something amazing that has helped drastically in just a few days, and it’s sooo cheap! TRUST ME IT WORKS!

So what is this thing I’m so happy with?! BABY OIL! Yes, it might sound ridiculous but it has helped moisturize my skin more than lotions I’ve used daily. How do I apply it? Simple, apply right out of shower or bath. Don’t towel dry your skin after shower, while your body is still damp apply your baby oil. You don’t need much, it will spread nicely because your skin is damp. Another reason for why on a damp skin? You won’t get the sticky feel of oil on your skin, and it absorbs nicely in your skin! I apply to every body part I possibly can including my face. You can take as much baby oil as you want though. When you’re done, towel dry your skin. It’s a nice smooth drying process. VOILA! Softer skin in a jippy. Apply everytime you shower and you’ll have the softest skin.

I hope this helps for those who have problems with dry skin. I got this trick from beauty guru Tanya Burr, she’s amazing by the way.
